Entry Information
Eligibility
Any full-length, non-fiction (including creative non-fiction) travel book written by a British or European national and published in English for the first time in 2026 is eligible for the 2027 Sherborne Prize for Travel Writing. Self-published books are not eligible. Books translated into English are acceptable.

How To Enter
Entries must be made by the author’s publisher. No more than three entries per publisher’s imprint.

One payment and one form per entry.
Entries must be received by the organisers by 30th September 2026.

Winners
In January 2027 a shortlist will be announced by the judges and the winning author will be revealed at the Sherborne Travel Writing Festival in April 2027.
The winning author will give a talk to present their winning book as one of the festival events.
